I was approached by the Guild of Blacksmiths to forge a piece to present to Lu Back on his 100^th birthday. They said that Lu had always admired the cloaked figures that I make and could I produce one to represent a blacksmith. I was delighted and honored to be asked to produce this for one of blacksmithing’s great characters and a lovely man. Sadly Lu passed on shortly after his 100^th birthday.
